23Litre Fuel Tank XT660X??
A few years ago I had a 1983 xt600, and I managed to track down a 23L fuel tank from a Tenere which bolted straight on. Is there a larger tank available for the XT660X?

The other option is a 22.5 litre tank from Brazil that is much cheaper than the off-the-road offer. However, it is stated as being for the XTR (link below), but there is a Guy on Advrider (and here?) that has installed one on the X.
http://www.gilimoto.com.br/index.php...&product_id=86 The owner, Giovana, speaks/writes sufficient English to make the transaction and delivery should you go that route. It cost about 330 (plus customs) delivered to London. Delivery took a couple of weeks. |

Thanks for your help, I will look into this as I plan to do a fair bit of distance this year. Saying that, I've just done 170 miles on my standard 15litre tank, and when I filled up I got 12.5 litres in. I am running in at the moment so I guess that will drop the more I start to open her up.

Late answer, just spotted the tread!
Dale C is probably talking about me, I have driven approx 20000 kms with the Gillimototank now without any issues on an XTX. |
