TT Toolbox on Yamaha Bashplate

Has anyone tried to fit a Touratech Toolbox on Yamahas OEM Bashplate?

I come across a TT Toolbox for free and currently using the Yamaha's bashplate so I wonder if anyone have some great ideas on how to mount it nice and properly...

Do you have the Yamaha bashplate? Any pics?

Well, there is no problem fitting it... But as the TT Toolbox is wider than the Yamaha bashplate there will be some space between the back of the toolbox and the bashplate. So I need to make my own "back plate" for the toolbox as there is no wall between that and the bashplate....

About the small space to open the lid, here is a smart solution for that!
