Over the last few day i have oil drip under left side of motor.Now spraying out over the side stand and in the sump guard could it be the gear change oil seal.

O yes should have said 2009 xt660z tenere. is there a mod oil seal.?

Give it a right good clean up/degrease round that area, fire her up and have a look. You should see where it's coming out, especially if it's "spraying out" like you say onto the side stand.

Just another thought - you have checked the crankcase oil drain plug is tight?? |

I think iv fixed it.On the starter case there's a large screw head took it out no O ring + timing screw no O ring .
