Of the "adventure" motorcycling books I've read the two that have entertained me most would be "These Are The Days That Must Happen To You" (Dan Walsh) and "Is That You Angus?" (Fergus O'Connell - ebook). The latter only covers an trip from Grimsby to the North West of Scotland, but it's a gem of a tale and something every biker can relate to, adventurer or otherwise.

And Nick Sanders is now touring on the Super Tenere and the old R1 has been pensioned off, and from time to time Nick tours Yamaha dealers and gives an account of his travels. I have yet to get to one but I understand that his talks are fantastic and he also brings his bike along for you to see, great evening I am told.

Having read bits of his books that have been serialised in magazines, I can't imagine anything worse than listening to him.

I could have added "and the number of times Paul used the phrase 'never again' in his report of travelling with Nick Sanders"

Yeah, Paul and I have swapped many a horror story about Sanders and his exploits on and off the bike. I was one of the 2010 'Guinea Pig' Pan Am riders and Paul was 2011. We tried to warn them but they wouldn't listen LOL.
