Hi Tenere owners, thinking of making my own aluminium panniers. Could some one with a set please send dimensions. My local dealer doesn't have a bike in stock with them on. Thanks.

External dimensions for Yamaha panniers is H390mm L455mm W205mm.

Of course they're a lot smaller on the inside, being double skinned and housing the mechanism in the inner wall. They hold 30L, but given the external dimensions they are the same physical size as a 36L single skin aluminium box.

Thanks very much for reply, my thinking was if I made them the same dimensions as the genuine item I would be able to use the Yamaha inner bags.
