Well thats me had my XTX for a year now after getting rid of the ZX9, after I bought the XTX I discovered it had a DNA filter and a PCIII fitted and then joined this site, the surging was bad but after reading about it on here i just put it down to the ECU. In a moment of technical genius lol, I decided to dig out a camera lead and plug the PCIII into the lap top to have a look. The map loaded in was for a standard bike and mine has the DNA filter, Quill pipes with baffles removed and also intake snorkel removed, I changed the map for something a bit more suited and the result is I have a new bike. WOW, the difference is amazing and this is what I expected it to be like a year ago. This along with my recently fitted maxxis supermaxx tyres mean I am going to have a good summer this year.

I've just passed the 1000 miles on mine and the engine feels like it has really came alive now. It is standard so far except from crash bungs, hand guards and rim tape.

Im not regretting getting rid of the R1 at all. Just wish I had done it years ago.
