T4 straight thru cans on an XTR? advice/opinions?

hi guys,

Im contemplating fitting a pair of T4 cans to the 660.
Luckily threres no emission or noise laws here in asia (or speed cameras ), so they will be quite loud and have a perforated straight through baffle with fibreglass packing.

Why pick the T4's? well I can buy them cheap and fitting is next to nothing. I had one on my DR800 suzuki before. man that mother was loud- sounded like a helicopter! I liked the job the boys did fitting one to my old xt250t and have had a good run out of them. So I hope to continue the trend.

There's no dyno's here so remapping etc is out of the question, and I'm trying to do things on the cheap, so im hoping to do my mods without buying any products online (that frequently go missing in the mail here anyway).

so the plan is:
removing snorkel (and inspecting airbox for easily removable obstructions)
fitting twin T4's

do you think I should change any of the on-dash fuel settings?
and/or block off the AIS pipe (as I read in a previous post)?

Just hoping to get some advice and opinions...
