XT660Z fuel cap / flap - conversion to Acerbis

Hi,

I'm looking to replace the locking fuel cap / flap on my XT660Z with a simple screw-on type Acerbis cap.

(Competition use, hoping to save a bit of weight and key-faffing time, not worried about security)

Can anyone recommend a reliable fuel tank fabricator who might be able to make up something similar to this?

Thanks.

if your looking to save weight i think the filler cap would be the least of your worries and the tenere will only be able to get to a certain weight with out spending big monies

Hi,

Yes, I'd seen the RRP adaptor, they're on my list. The triangle flange obviously doesn't suit but I'm hoping they can copy the Ten's fitting.

I know I'm never going to get it down to anything like a comp bike's weight but simple and relatively inexpensive tweaks here and there all add up.

Cheers.
