mtc cans

Hi all,can anybody tell me if fitting mtc cans to the bike will have any difference in power. The only change i have made is to fit k&n air filter.
Cheers

If you ask Kev he'll tell ya. You gain weight loss, great sound and faster expletion of exhaust gases, the bike will rev a little higher and there is a degree of power increase but I just don't know the figures and Kev might give you a better idea.

I fitted my MTC cans with the rest of the bike completely stock standard and rode around for about 3 weeks prior to doing other mods.

Whilst I can't give you actual numbers I can say that there was a noticable difference in power (improved by say 5%). It was really evident when I put the stock pipes back on for a few days. The bike felt like it was rather slow :-(
