Top Box Ammo Box

Wanted someting to stash me petrol Coleman Stove and the soft panniers not an option.

Looked around at toolboxes etc but went for this instead 17x8x7 so stove fits with lots of room for other odds and ends. 16, delivery was steep at 6 as it's kin heavy.

Couple of holes drilled in the bottom and bolted to the BogTech Rack.

Got it from here

http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/sh...le-522450.html

Ordered it in the morning and it arrived next day, postage is a bit steep at 7 but you could offset this by getting some more stuff, as they sell all sorts but I didn't really want owt.

Sez 5kg and must be about that, cant say I've noticed a big difference done abot 40odd mile + a bit of dirt track, with just the box with a few bits 'n bobs in it, and then 500 mile trip with tent, panniers etc. When camping it had, coleman stove, kettle, fryin pan, mug, tools, poles for tarp and a few small odds and ends, with room for a bit more stuff. Water proof and lockable though you'd need two padlocks as the lid isn't hinged and comes off.

I ues soft panniers (oxfords) so not ideal for carrying stove etc with this I can stash all the 'hard' items and leave the panniers free for clays and kippin bags etc. works well. Was gonna get some ARD ali cases but don't think I'll bother now.

Can take some better pics if yuz want?
