DNA MK3 Awards

DNA MK3 Awards

I see DNA have won an award in the red dot production design category for 2012 in Europe, well done to them. Their products do cost a bit more than others but well worth the money in my eyes, if everyone could see the engineering that has gone into these air boxes you would understand why they won an award.

Well I agree with you Kev. I bought a Stage 2 filter for my XTX and everything about the purchase was excellent. Speed of the shipment, quality of the packaging, the easy fit of the filter and the performance too. Excellent, I vote 5 stars to DNA.

hahah what 18months that is a record. Well i cant lie i bought a set of kev mod fork spacers with a kev fuel mod. Put the fuel mod on with a stg 2 dna filter i got second hand off the forum and just seem to forget about the spacers. They are now taking pride and joy as a piece of metal fabrication art work on my desk at home

Although I am a fan of DNA and believe they offer top quality products, I would warn against overestimating the value of the red-dot award. They literally hand out thousands of awards and honorable mentions every year. Virtually every company I know that has applied (and paid) for an award have won one at some point.
The company I worked for received an "award" for some product at least every 2 years.

As I mentioned, I by no means want to diss DNA, I would gladly recommend them to anyone. But this self-sustaining myth about the importance of a red dot award needs to be put into perspective
