Ryanair Supports Trail Riders
Good evening all. Just sat here in a snowy and icy Mosel Valley, with nothing better to do than browse the web. Got an email from Ryanair offering big discounts on flights in March ad April. Got me thinking ...
..... It'd be good to get a cheap flight to somewhere, stay in a modest establishment for a night or two, hire an enduro bike locally, ride a few trails, have a few beers, tell-many-a-tall-tale, then fly back home. It ought to be possible, given how many places they now fly from/to??? I did a few searches quickly (albeit from my nearet airport of Frankfurt Hahn) and came-up with quite a few destinations in April for around 20 return .... got to be worth exploring further? Places included Bologa, Zadir, Palma ... Anyone know or have knowledge of possible destinations near to a R'air airport that does trail bike hire? Anyon interested in maybe getting away for a few days off-roading? Maybe we can sort something. It'll take a bit of organising I'm sure, but hell .... it can't be rocket science. I've a lot of time on my hands, so if anyone's up for it and we can get a steer on bike hire places close to R'air destinations .... who knows?!?! If there are few direct flights from where you are, their prices are so low right now that you might even consider a double-hop flight .... come to Frankfurt Hahn, I'll pick you up, stay for a night or two and we'll jolly-well-off to sunnier climes for a mini-adventure. What say you? ..... this is, after all, supposed to be a site for bikes that are capable of adventure. Ball's in your court .... |
