Was thinking about them. The ones that shape around the bike. I opted for the Hepco & Becker Gobi cases (which haven't arrived yet).
I like the Givi parts though and i know people say they wouldn't last in a fall, but i wasn't planning on falling of much (well hope not) and even if there was the misfortune of a break they are still alot cheaper that the ali cases.

Got the panniers and am investigating the rails as going on the 1st price i have had the rails are nearly twice the cost of any other bike i may have shot meself in the foot again
Shoulda checked first, i don't understand why they would be so expensive ?

PLXR363 "quick release" rails 191 PLX "standard" 135, i have emailed Givi UK to enquire what quick release means and if there is any re-location of indicator etc. with either rail.
They are also not making Busa rails for the K8 > as they are sulking cos they got bad press and were blamed for the subframe malarky years ago

After a lot of searching and web browsing, i have ordered the Kappa rails which should arrive today, fitted the Givi plate last night, very simple and puts the box a bit further back than the Yam one so i don't have to kick it everytime i get on and off !
Kappa rails will be fitted with the new Givi V35N boxes in black. The Kappa rails were in stock (one set) which is a first for anything i have tried to buy for the bike !!
Called Baglux and ordered the harness and the new Cross R bag and i will be the first to have one according to them (they want photo's when fitted and no i didn't get a discount but they (she) was very nice to deal with)
Will post picks when fitted.

I have a Givi Maxia box which i bought 2 years ago and used on my NT700. I've since got the mounting plate and use it on the Ten and i have to say that its a first rate bit of kit - very rugged, easy to use and totally reliable to date.
I wanted more luggage capacity so looked into Panniers to supplement the Maxia. T'Tech & Metal Mule ones look great, but a grand?!?!? Far too expensive. So looked at the Yamaha ones but even they are pretty salty on the price and there seem to be issues with the locks according to some folk, so i plumped for the Givi V35 cases and fitting kit. I used First Line Motorcycles in Arnos grove, North london and they do great deals on Givi stuff - I paid just short of 370 for the boxes and the fitting kit, I am chuffed with that price, i think its great value and i'd recommend First Line to anyone - Superb!
