Replacement Levers?

Does anyone know where I could find some cheap third party levers that might fit the Terere?
Had a slow speed spill yesterday on some mud while doign a u-turn and bent the front and back levers. The Bike shop Faversham kindly fixed them for just the cost of the replacement front lever but 40 seemed a bit steep for the lever itself. I know mandp do replacement levers but at first glance I'm not sure it any of those would fit? Basically thinking of getting a few spares in now (clutch, front and rear brake) as it'll be cheaper should I need them again. |

The Tenere brake lever is the same part number as the lever for a FZ6 or FZ1, so if you can find a pattern lever for one of those then it should fit ok.

Certainly a 2008 FZS6XB is the same, but I guess most of the recent years are the same.

NOTE: I have edited this as it had the wrong part no.
The Tenere part number is the same as the FJR 1300 2004. I have just ordered some of these http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo.a...er3url=Economy The part no you need is 564466 But have not received them yet but I assume they will fit OK. I have not been able to find any clutch levers I called Yamaha to cross reference the Tenere part number against other Yamaha models but it seems it is unique. Off - the road do a Clutch lever but it is expensive Last edited by scottnet; 23-02-09 at 15:48. |

The clutch lever is unique to the Tenere.
Its almost identical to the FZ6/FZ1 except that the part that fits into the perch (where the bolt fits through to hold it in place) is about half the thickness of the FZ's. I bought another one (20) and had 30mm chopped out and the ball welded back on. Nick. |
