Attention all Tom Tom Rider owners
There is a new software version out both for your Tom Tom Home (PC software) and for the unit itself. There are a few more interesting features including a trip statistic logger and other setup features. Download it now its free, just connect your Tom Tom Rider to your pc via the tom tom home software and it will automatically update!

I installed this a couple of weeks ago. It's a pretty good update.
A few of the features off the top of my head are Compatibility with new maps (including MapShare) Trip statisticswith average & top speed :-) Help Me for emergency services and roadside assistance etc. There is also a feature that let's you specify a time you wish to arrive. you can then see on the status bar if you're going to be early or late at your destination. It was showing that I was going to be early for work the other day so took a 15 mile detour on some B roads. I arrived with a big grin on my face. The only gripe I have with the TomTom Rider v2 is the volume on the Bluetooth headset. Does anyone else find it a bit quiet? |

I don't know mine is a TomTom Rider 1, and its loud enough, although i never have the headset cause she'll only annoy me, I am fine just by following the on screen line every now and then.

Ok, I like the speed camera warnings I get through the headset
and obviously it's good for the phone. Strangely though, the volume from the phone is fine.
