XT660x forks bent
Hi,
I bought my XT and rode 4000Km so far. Now one fork started leaking, so I took a look at it and noticed, my forks are bent! I never noticed it while riding, and it goes perfectly straight when I let go of the handlebars. But I want to know if its too risky to drive like that. I have added some pictures: https://photos.app.goo.gl/oPgWniCBWFr81uAo8 thanks, Jonas |

Very unlucky !.....and yep, not a safe idea to ride on damaged forks, regardless of having ridden X,000 Kilometres so far.

One of mine was damaged when I got my bike, got new one from ABE, (allbikeengineering)in London, 95 delivered, the fork is #282 in thier catalogue.
Tel, +44 2088589052. Excellent service and really helpful. Cost me 50 for a local guy to swap internal and do both fork seals( I supplied parts). Edit, Just seen where you are so postage could be a problem, Al. |
