New XT rider from the Netherlands

Good morning/afternoon and night lads!
Im getting my '06 XTX this weekend ( yay ).
After 5 years of riding sportbikes ( last one was a R1 from 2005 ) and do lots of track riding and amateur track instructing Im leaving the sportbikescene behind for a couple of years.
Mainly because of the costs.. Happily married 3 months ago and we got our own first apartment. Since my wife is still studying in the Hospital Im the only one earning money and riding a sportbike on the track is too expensive atm.. and Im one of those dudes who gives riders a bad name ( I know, I know.. not my proudest habbit ) the R1 has currently 165hp on the rear wheel and I just have to use it all. With that I have said to never ever buy a sportbike for the road again.. ( self reflection is on point too )

But why an XTX? Well, I loved 1 cilinder four strokes since I was little. My first moped was an Skyteam PBR ( replica of the old Honda ZB ) and I was doing mods every weekend with my friends. it didnt pulled my arms off but it had it charms, the sound and personality of the engine was enough to make me smile. So, my new bike had to be a 1 cilinder. But since we dont have much money left every month + Im not that smart to replace pistons on my own ( for an example ) a diehard hardcore supermoto wasnt going to fit. Blablabla.. after testing different bikes the XT gave me a big smile!

Next year the XTX will be used on small tracks ( time to prove the bikescene that these heavy beautys can race fast too ) and on the road for riding with my wife, little brother and friends!

The engine part is completely standard besides 2 Leovince SBK exhausts.
Im planning to do these mods this winter:
- K&N filter ( no stage 2, Im scared of water coming in the airbox )
- Kev his airbox mod
- Kev his fuel mod ( I dont want a PC because I use db killers and sometimes remove them.. )
- Maybe different suspension ( there is one up for sale in Holland, second handed and cheap. If that one is sold I need to look for mods for the front fork )
- Engine breather mod

That is on my mind and I have all winter to do it.
If you guys and girls have any recommendations, please let me know!
Especially if it can improve the handling on the track!

Sorry for the long story, well actually not sorry XD. Ill stick around a few times a week because there is a ****load of information on this forum ( thanks for that already!! )
