Visiting Wales
Hello Everyone,
I have a week off next week and I would like to treat myself for my birthday with some nice 3-4 days trip to Wales. I live in London so if anyone has any ideas where to ride, where to sleep and eat your help would be much appreciated! I am taking a tarp, sleeping bag, some wood and stove. if anyone knows any wild spots let me know. Also, if anyone want's to join me you are more than welcome. Leaving London on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning (depends when my luggage rack will arrive) many thanks for all the help and as I've said, if anyone fancy bit of wild camping you are more than welcome to join me. I was under the impression that wild camping is only legal in Scotland and not in the rest of the UK. Hope I'm wrong.

Thank you guys for a replies.
I did checked couple of campsites around wales. Now it's just about finding some green lanes, let's see where I'll end up :-) regarding the wild camping, I always found this tricky and I don't want to start any arguments with anyone but for last 15 years I've been always respectful while doing it, always asking the farmers for permission, never left a mark or mess behind me and so on. I am a true nature man with big love for nature. this is not an excuse for braking the law in any way however! Hope I didn't offend anyone. Zdenek |

Eloquent and respectfully phrased arguments are welcome on here. Nothing wrong with what you said, or more importantly the way you said it.

I have mainly wild camped on foot but its all about being discreet, setting up camp late and leaving early next morning. Unfortunately, its not so easy to be discreet when you have a motorbike with you. Saying that I remember camping with a mate (and two bikes) in the middle of the village green (next to the putting green) in Lynmouth. We got a few looks from the dog walkers in the morning as we brewed up.
