Oh Yes.....

Here is our very own Bernard racing his Z to Dakar in 2010.



He rode from Ireland to Paris to Dakar.... no transportation over the rode sections, and even then the BMW's and KTM's were struggling to stay in the race.

There has been a few from Tenere.dk doing the Intercontinental rally to Dakar

In 2012 (afair) Martin did it on a 660 Tenere - (With upgrades/spares for ~3000€)
