Use PC3 w. O2 sensor

I know the PC3 was discontinued long ago, hence not mentioned/referenced for later bikes.
However, I got hold of an old PC3 which I would like to use with my '07 XTX fitted with O2 sensor.

Is there any reason why the PC3 couldn't be used on newer bike with O2 sensor?
