XTR which rear shock?

My rear shock on my XTR is beginning to get tired now and I was wondering what the consensus is on replacement shocks more at the budget end of the scale?

Something that can be rebuilt is preferable, also I do take my bike off road so would like to keep the same amount of usable travel? The bike is also my daily commuter.

Cheers guys.

Not sure about a "budget" shock that would provide any real benefit over the OEM. Hyperpro, YSS or IKON? I opted for a Wilbers with remote purchased through OTR. Had a slight issue regarding availability (around this time of year), but...well worth the wait. Like others, the upgrade followed a rebuild of the Paioli's, which showed up the rear.

Good luck!
