Unknown connectors
Just fitting a scottoiler. Took the seat off and found these two connectors. Any idea what they were/are for
They are coming out of the wiring loom on the left side

they're redundant, if my memory serves me right one is a diag port for Yamaha and the second is to do with a alarm fitting option.

They are both for the alarm. One links to the ECU/immobiliser and the other goes to the indicator circuit. One of the pins in the square block can be used as a switched 12V supply for accessories (with a suitable inline fuse) if no alarm is fitted...

Wow. Is there anything you guys don't know about these bikes. So helpful thank you. Might look into a yami alarm then if it's just plug n play
