bearing removal tools?

I'm looking into some tools to make bearing changes a bit easier, i've to options i'm looking at, one is the blind bearing kit with slide hammer and the other is a drift set with collects.

what are peoples experiences on these? for now atleast it will be for jobs like wheel bearings, linkage bearings etc,

Hammer and 15mm mild steel rod shaped at the end to suit the application.

I've no objection to using specific tools, but the ability to fix stuff in the 'field' with what you have, is hugely underrated, and could save you much hassle.

I've used both methods in the past, but a few months ago i was defeated by the front wheel bearings being siezed in the hub, so i was looking for something to make the job that bit easier.
