High mount front mudguard

Hello everyone. I have a 2013 xt660z tenere and I would like to change to a black plastic high mount front mudguard . I have seen some kits advertised on the net but some are ridiculously priced. My small local bike shop wasn't much help either so I was after some advice on what guards and brands fit and work well. Some kits seem to have a metal bracket to move the guard slightly forward and/or strengthen the mount . This I can easily make myself. Any suggestions or pictures would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

And I, rather brazenly, stole that idea shortly after!

Welcome to the forums.I trust you'll enjoy your time here.

Have a wee peep here?

I ordered mine off ebay by entering Polisport.....a couple of washers made mine miss the radiator guard at the rear of the front mudguard.

All the best

I installed the OTR one which is a straight fit, not cheap but not extensive either, but had to invert the tow eye too (which is a nice thing to maintain BTW).

Isnt the OTR/Tourtech one simply a Polisport Universal Airflow fender..ie
http://www.polisport.com/motorbikes/produtos.php?ID=552

I chose the Airflow Motard one as I didnt want to block the radiator and my first YZF fender was huuuugggge!! Basically drill, flip the towhook and fit.
Matt.
