Clocks jump 40,000 miles
Anyone any ideas why my clocks would jump 40,000 miles overnight? I've had a problem with the main fuses blowing and the battery completely draining, so sent the bike into the dealers who found some worn insulation in the wiring to the regulator. At some point whilst fixing the bike, the clocks have jumped from 24,500 to 66,700 miles.

Weird. Are you sure you got the same bike back?
I think you best take it up with the dealer. |

Yeah... they're looking into it. Apparently the clocks hold their own fault codes? Anyone ever heard of the clocks mileage changing or being reprogrammed?

66 km into miles is 24, sounds like the dash has switched from miles to km, I don't remember how you switch it over although it's pretty easy, do a search and it should turn up

Mech, hold
both of the buttons on the dash
in and turn the ignition on.
The speedo will flash mph or kph, you can select whichever you want. I find this very handy when I go abroad as you can get kph on the speedo.

Good suggestion. However, I think you might barking up the wrong tree! 24500 miles is 40000 Km, not 66700 Km. |
