Hi, been riding various bikes for the past 28 years, still looking for 'the one'...bike
A few have come close VFR, ZRX, Bandit 1250, but always come back to singles XBR, Enfield. Planning to buy a XT660 Tenere soon, this forum is a big help, lots of info. Do most of my own maintenance so looking forward to joining the clan :-) |

Hi welcome. The XT tenere is definitely a do it all in one bike. I've had mine about 3 months and done about 3500 miles including daily commute, trips to London, green laning and a bit of proper off road. I still like the speed of a ninja and the cruise of a harley but the XT will do things these bikes can't and it always puts a smile on my face.
Easy to maintain too, my only gripe is the weight, why don't they make them lighter... The DR650rs I had back in 92 only weighed 165kgs?? |
