Newbie from West Yorkshire
Hi all, thort I'd better say "hi" rather than lurking - have just realised I "need" to get back into biking and it just
has to be a Tenere. Have got the nod from SWMBO, -surprisingly easily, as it happened - so once Xmas is outta the way I will be looking to part with my hard-earned. Meanwhile I'll be soaking up the vast amount of info on here (and no doubt posing the occasional bone question
)
See you around! |

Welcome on board mate and ALL questions are good here, the only bone question is the one that you did not ask!!!! And how on earth did you manage to get the nod???????? I recently had the ultimatum "either me or the bikes" so I am now single with my beloved bikes hehehe. Have fun mate, Simon

Welcome to the forum.
Are you intending buying new or second hand? Just bear in mind when making your choice that the black ones are the fastest, most reliable and the coolest looking. |

Nothing wrong with decisiveness! Welcome aboard; I'm sure you'll enjoy the new bike. The Tenere is a cracking bike and I'm getting the impression that it's the most popular version of the XT on this forum.
I gave up bikes in my 20s when I got serious with my then girlfriend, now wife. It was entirely my decision, driven by cost and practicality. However, I lusted after bikes so much that it hurt and many years later, when the kids were more independent, I finally got back in the saddle. Thankfully, my wife encouraged it although she has no interest at all and will never ride pillion. |
