Need some tips please.

I tried doing it yesterday and JUSt about managed to move it 1. Basically my tool means it ALMOST gets to the top of the adjustment, but not quite enough to hold it at the top... so if I let go, it drops back down... GRRRR.

What am I missing here. ?

Lift the back end or get someone to sit on it thats what i did but yes it was hard and a pain in the arse to without the tips above
