K&n filter fitment.
Hey guys, hope everyone uk based is enjoying our little heat wave?
Today I put in a K&n filter and removed the snorkel, the filter was pushed home but the filter was sticking out a little, but once I nipped the cover screws up on the filter box everything seemed to seat properly, is this normal for these filters? Also is there anything I can do on a 06 to reducing the popping? Sorry forgot to say it's on a xtr. |

Yeah mine was tight, hangs out a little so it makes contact with the outer cover and seals all 4 sides, search ais blocking to stop the popping, I like mine

Ais pipe goes from air box to the head . Turns into steal pipe before it goes into the head at the front of the engine just above the exhaust ports . Block that and youre poping will be dramatacily reduced . Its only for emmision laws and getting youre cat up to temp quicker if running standard pipes
