Debating a few mods tomorrow.

1. Hyperpro springs front, 15w oil (with KeV spacers?) And Hyperpro rear spring. 200
2. Wilbers or Hyperpro shock, plus springs/oil in front. 450
3. Online shock plus springs and oil 550

Cash is king. I do however have nothing to contribute regarding the difference between Wilbers and hlins setup.

Went for hlins springs in front, and saved the rear for later.
The limited progressive ability of the standard front fork might encourage selecting progressive front springs. I didn't bother, as im rather light and Wilbers progressive front springs (more or less same as Hyperpro) wasn't recommended by Off The Road in Germany.

What a question and the reason I say I run two bikes with Ohlins and another with Wilbers the mistake most folks make when comparing is do it like for like ie with separate compression/rebound/remote preload ajust or just make sure they are all the same spec

So having to admit that I have an addiction for aftermarket suspension I actually rather like the stock stuff on the XT my rear shock is very stiff(I'm 12st) which I actually like, the front I guess could be a little more progress and feels rather crude but at the same time I don't want squidgy it's not a motocrosser,it has a tendency to jump around a fair bit when pushing on in a Welsh country lane which adds to the fun as opposed to having a front and rear moving too much.

As for the 3 shocks you mentioned assuming they are all the same spec it would take a brave man to split them and I'd be more inclined to go for the one that is closer to home in case you need some after sales service/help,and of course when ordering make sure they supply a shock/spring for your weight.

I've ordered the Hyperpro spring kit front and rear from Calsport.
