Fuel Tank Suggestions

I have a XT660r 2011 I have been told that the Tenere 660 tank does not fit, does anybody know if it can be modified to fit, or the original tank of the 660r can be modified.

If you are after more fuel....

Theres a few here that have them..

Thanks for your answer i have spoken to gilli motor and they told me that i will get 21.5 litres usuage but i am after a min of 25lts and there is a company in germany but they do not make them any more. I am hoping to get my original tank modified but hoping there was an easier way.

I bought an Tenere tank on Ebay and tried to make it fit but The XTZ frame doesn't have anything in common with the XTR frame so it wont fit.

Instead I went for the Gillimototank and I am happy with my choice, bolt on and takes about an hour to install. For extra fuel I've fitted Fehling crashbars which I've mounted Ortlieb 11 litre bicyclebags on where a 5 litre sparecan fits perfectly, in total 32 liters of fuel.
