Lowering footpegs
Already have the handlebar raisers and still find the stand up position awkward. Anyone has ideas on how to lower for footpegs by 25-40 mm?

I have the SW-Motech footrests which can be set in two positions: stock or 15mm lower...
http://www.motorradgarage.com.au/foo...aha-xt660r-x-z AFAIK these are the only adjustable ones available. Not sure you want to go any lower as you'd be compromising ground clearance?

I also have those and love them, but I was thinking. If you wanted them even lower, couldn't you just find a long bolt and attach them sort of under the main mount?

SW Motech pegs
I am 6'7" and I fitted a set of SW motech footrest on my Tenere
I do a few trials etc and the Motech pegs are much better than the standard ones, it surprised me what 15mm difference makes. I was that impress with them that I fitted a set to my Varadero I think if lower the pegs to much the you will hit a problem with the gear and brake pedals. |

Has anybody tried Kedo footpegs?
http://www.kedo.com/?f_page=ArtDetail&f_param=30919 They look very similar to SW Motech ones (identical ??) but offer 25mm drop, also a bit cheaper. Wonder if it is possible to massage brake pedal that much though... |
