Has anyone got any feedback/review on these as an alternative to the R&G or OTR tail tidies. Slightly cheaper than R&G and appear to retain the look of the OEM light which I prefer. Thinking of getting one myself. Cheers.

If i was to go through the hassle of changing the tail unit though i would only do it if it was lighter. (by a doesnt amount)

Definitley looks better than the R&G one.

Does this utilise the standard rear lights then?

I bought my R&G over 3 years ago, so there was no choice other than to butcher the original unit which I didn't want to do.

Good to have a choice and for sure my R&G weighs almost nothing.

The reply from them is "The tail tidy has been designed so that the original brake light and indicators are used".

Hopefully it's not too hard a job to do.

I prefer the R&G, but anything's better than the original jobbie..

ive never taken the OEM tail tidy off but ive heard its suprisingly weighty.

So i guess with this one, you take the old one off but remove the lights and fit them to the new tail tidy??

That it is! Weighed a lot more than I would have thought.

After I my whole license plate holder broke off (how it broke off can be seen H E R E ) I ordered the OTR tail tidy hoping it wouldn't happen again. It was a sonofa***** to fit, but I got it in the end.

Now, for those of you considering one, be sure to think of what I did not - rain/mud! No longer do you have something for rain and mud to splash against, that is now thrown up over my back... If I could go back I would just have ordered the stock
