datatool revlight
picked up one of these cheap and as far as i'm aware they don't make them anymore
has anyone fitted one ? whats the xtx revlimiter set at ? which wire carries the pulse for rev counter function ? many thanks in advance

The grey wire between crankshaft position sensor and ECU is where to pick up a pulse. Be careful chopping any wires that lead to and from the ECU � make sure you get it right! Solder and heatshrink is the way to go.
As for the rev limiter, I think it�s set somewhere around 7200rpm on the XT660 motor? I had one of these fitted to a quad and found that fitting a push-button switch between the orange wire and earth made life a lot easier with programming. Only ever solder and heat shrink, no scotchlocks round here ![]() Looks easy to set up, as we already got the rev counter function on dash should be easy, To set up and get spot on,
