I've never considered heating my butt..
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-...item2c6253bb65
In all the weather I've ridden in, never have I though my butt was cold..... Does anyone have one of these things, or tried one, or used one on another bike. My impression is it's pretty pointless as a modification, but I'm willing to listen to someone who's tried one. Over to you

Looks like a complete waste of time (and money) to me.
Cold fingers and toes - yes. Cold butt - no. ... and the under seat exhaust gets pretty warm on a Tenere anyhow! |

You laugh, but I have a couple of friends with a BMW 1600GTL thing that has 'his and hers' heated seats (and grips of course, and plugs for waistcoats!) and they swear by it...
Of course if it's that frikking cold you'd think they'd take the car? Continue laughing... Jx |

An old biker, long since departed, told me when I first started riding, when heated grips were confined to Pan Europeans and some BMW's.... Anyway, his tip was to get a pair of gloves that are too big, so there is at least 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch between the end of the glove and the finger, when closed around the grips. It actually works. But, having gloves that slip around a bit is one of the worst feelings ever.... you can get used to it, eventually.
