fuelling after fitting metal mule

Well

I just fitted my scorpion/metal mule 2 into 1 exhaust.

starting it up (baffle out) bike idles for a short period then the idle drops a little slower... fair enough.. then every time i blip the throttle, even if not revving it high, it bangs out a big flame when i close the throttle, too rich? id have thought it would be lean after new exhaust

there are a couple of little blows in it at the minute until i get everything fully tightened it seems to be a tricky exhaust to get sitting right... but they are very tiny doubt theyre making a difference

must try it with baffle in, maybe the baffle out is just too much lol

I had no probs with mine...
but I have not taken the baffle out...
In fact didn't know it could come out..
but I like it quiet.. Don't want to be listening
to the exhaust all day...

re-fitted the baffle but also got the header pipes fitted tighter and seems better, might try baffle out again for curiosity now pipes are fitted better!

Block off your AIS if you want to reduce the poping back.

Adjust your idle speed to suit the new back pressure from the 2in1 pipe.

I have the same problem as Forde, I just fitted a MM 2 into 1 exhaust and when I close the thorttle the exhaust bangs loudly, I try to change the CO in 13, 20, 25, 30, and even 50 but it bangs out anyway.

I have the AIS removed. What should I try now??

Kev, you talked about idle speed, (Im spanish) maybe is what we call "ralent"? (when the bike is started but the throttle closed).

Thank you!!
