            Xt660z ram mounts

             hi folks, wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a ram mount for the ten. i currently do have one that appears to be too loose on the bar above the speedo. i reluctant to keep ordering one to send back so would appreciate any advice.
             many thanks Dan |

             I mounted mine on the handlebars instead as it is not easy to get a good grip on that small bar above the speedo.

   That took on a whole new meaning for a second there.....   I found the RAM mount and the silly little plastic 'reducer' they supply was no use at all. I tried rubber, some alloy ferrels I had but it kept moving. Finally I made up a simple mount from 4mm alloy plate;

             I find the rod above the speedo to have a lot more vibration as on the handlebars (maybe the shocks help)
             I have fitted a RAM mount to the handlebars and it works perfect |
