suggestions for the long winter - center stand, cruise control, panier rack...

Europe heads straight into "no bike season", time for some new MOD's

Yesterday Gilson Miranda - a brasilian XTR rider came through Lima.
Me and some friends were able to help him out with oil change and other service issues. (Now the cush drive Mod will go Brasil!)

Gilson had some very nice modification done to his bike, here are the pictures:

Today he headed on to Equador, then Venezuela and has to be back in Brasil in 3 weeks.

Looks like a cracker side main and main stand in one.

What is the piece of metal on the throttle bar.

It's a home-made cruise control - a simple thumb-operated locking lever and fixed throttle rachet

ahhh sweet, i though it looked like it was more attached to the mirror stem than anything else. But cruise control only ever used one on a HD electra glide and so wierd just hands off the bars (not adviced) at 70mph odd and relax
