Mitas E07 Feeback

My original rear Tourance is near its end and I'm flirting with Mitas E07 which is a good bang for buck down here in Brazil (175 euros rear only)

Anyone had any experience with it on the XT660?

Cheers

All Barum/Mitas I have tried are scary, they have a really hard compound and are dangerous on wet tarmac.

They are good for tractors and other agricultural machines

have fun,

Hi all. Have posted here before about Mitas 07s. Great allround tyre. Especially in the wet!! And not bad on the green stuff either. Had them for years on the 600Z and will not use anything else. Fitted them on the 660 just to try if it could cope with the extra grunt. Needn't have worried. Never let go in any condition. Unlike the Tourance, great on dry roads and ok on warm wet roads but scary in cold, damp conditions. Never again. By the way, never had a puncture in 25 years of biking, but i had three in 18 months with the Tourance. Just me??

i had tourances as well, they are great and i have a good mileage with them as well, but for even small muddy conditions they suck big time and they are really expensive comparing to Mitas E-09 that im using now.

they both cost like rear tourance, even if you drive it on rain it's still ok if you're not planning your fall rainy tour
Speed is also quite good and vibrations are minimal, only thing is that if you ride it mostly on tarmac forget about grip on dirt roads
