first M.O.T
right the first MOT is coming up on my xt and i have dna stage 1 and 2 filters as well as a power commander fitted. my question is will it fail the test with these fitted?? I dont really want to change the filters and zero the map as it runs horribly without them.

that would not affect the mot, provided you have legal exhausts with baffles on, if the rest of the bike is tip top you will be fine, I've done 2 mot's with stage 1 & 2, PCIII and stubby cans, never had a problem, however do check the following things that mot testers are looking for recently:
all lights, indicators, stop light to work, brake pads wear, tyre wear, chain/sprocket wear. Good luck |

i didnt think the dna filters or power commander where road legal though as they both have for race use only plastered all over them and thought they might pull me up on them. with the power commander changing the mixture i thought it would effect the emissions aswell.

Nothing to worry about mozza, no emissions test for bikes in the UK. It's only if your exhaust has 'Not for road use' or similar wording on it you may need to change it for the test.

Awsome thanks I will just keep them all on then, saves me a job. Its the first MOT on the bike so I don't see it having any problem passing.

Sorted everything looks to be in order- it only had a service 100miles ago so they would have spotted anything I haven't.
