After my failed attempt (logistics, guys who were supposed to transport my XT did not do it) two years ago, I`m finally going to Syria on my XT660R. In fact, tomorrow I`m crossing the border from Turkey and going to Aleppo, having driven across Greece and Turkey to get here. If anyone wants to see what I`m up to, check www.mytb.org/ArtVark.

The best mod I on my bike for this trip: my new all Hyperpro suspension. I should have done that years ago, what a difference! And after doing the twisties along the coast yesterday, I thınk it saved my bacon quite a few times. Second best mod: super-loud double horn, brillıant!
