T63 Dual Sport Tyres

To allow the info to be more easily found I've collected my T63 info here
To get a bit of diversity in the tyres used I thought I try the michelin T63s from the pics posted I think the michs have bigger blocks on the rear though front maybe similar, some rough pics attached

Fitted pics

Tread depth is ~11mm rear and ~6.5mm front which compares to Pirrelli Scorpion enduro front of ~11mm (used) and Michi AC10 Rear of ~15mm (used).

Mytyres.co.uk (prices seems dependant on stock/availability so you'll need to check) .
Yup fitted them myself (see I Haz thread in XT660z tyres section) but to sum up, very stiff carcase but it was subzero at the time, I pinch flatted the rear tube and the alloy rims mark very easily.
I also had the assistance of my tyre/wheel stand

How are those T63's doing? Will be looking at new tyres soon, not because my Sirac's are overly worn, but more that I have very little grip green laning. The temptation is always the TKC line but I rather like Michelin tyres and have learnt to trust them over the years. So I am doing the wise, but lazy, thing of learning from those around me. That said I know its a lot about personal preferences and riding locations and styles so won't hold anyone responsible if any advice sought and taken does not fit me.

Cheers.

Havent had much lane use out of them due to Ice. suspect they'll match TKCs lane wise and maybe have better mud capabilities due to wider knob spacing, that said I doubt they are a great gloopy tyre as the tread is dualsport biased not enduro . On road it feels slightly nervous at NSL but its not slapped on me yet (very bumpy up/hill down dale road) and I'm not confident in their on road cornering/braking but I havent seen temps break 5deg C yet so no suprise there.

Cheers for that. All good info. With the road surface temps that are prevalent at the moment the compound will be working hard to find grip on any knobbly I reckon.
