Ive attached the sat nav cable to the free plug behind the headlight. This is the small switched power supply one. Has anyone fitted a fuse inline or does it not need one and is fused in the fuse box?

Fit one as its never good to trust others work.... apart from Kevs work as its top stuff

UPDATE: Fuse fitted with 10amp fuse

Mike I would fit a 3amp fuse, all the enternals of the sat nav would burn out before the 10amp fuse blew.

The free plug behind the headlight, is this on a XT660R ?
