Took hold of a second hand pair of Yamaha side boxes, costing �350, and the reason they were second hand was because, apparently, their first owner had problems with the key/ locking system. Hmm…well, in the end, I found that these boxes were just cheap and nasty substitutes for the real deal, something I’d been putting off, and DEEPLY regretted.
In the end, I opted for a good pair of Skinny 31ltr aluminium panniers from MetalMule, just done 2600 miles in six days across Europe and I’m very happy!!!!
These will last for a lifetime, unlike the OE panniers from Yamaha, allegedly.
