New Top Box design ???
 

I recall reading somewhere that Yamaha have changed the luggage, namely the design of the top box; I know there to be a problem with stiff locks and keys snapping! can anyone shed some light on this????

That's right!
I owe the Yam Top Box ( or top case) in my Ten 08 and lock is striff and keys bend easily...

Tried to make some copies in a regular locksmith but was not possible...and I am afraid Sooner or late keys will brake...I always take the 2 copies in my bike keyholder for caution...

But no idea what Yam has thought for solving the problem...If they change the model, i think Yam should also free restore-replace the previous models as a proof og quality and customer service...

Spoke to the dealer today where I'm buying the bike, apparantly the top bow I've ordered has arrived and IS different to last years.........I'll report back when I see it at the w-end

is it just the top box that was affected by bad locks or are the side cases also, and if so have they been re-designed too?
