:Photos_3NT5BI: love the piccies, know you can feel proud of it has you bash it to bits when your off roading :) |
Cheers all! ive got some Rivets in it now to add to the flavour!
Im a poor mechanical engineering student so i may as well put the work shop to use! even if the thing does get dystroyed over the weekend at least my bike will be protected!!! :) What do you guys think? shall i paint it matt black or bead blast it so its a very shiny silver??? :guitar player: |
Rivets!
You'd be better welding it, would you not ...... |

Personally i go for the silver look, but black would be something different.:sunny: |
Chris if its still in one peice after the lakes then think about colours, this non welding sounds iffy, but then again who am i to say with an old speaker holdin number plate and indicators on.Look forward to the end result

I would weld it as a good knock will shear the heads off rivets, and as for painting or blasting I would,nt bother with either, you should see the stone thrashed staight of mine and i,ve not done off roading with it!
|
When i think about it it would be best to weld it!
Well at the end of th day it hasnt cost me anything so if it gets trashed and i have to scrap it in the lakes (not literally) at least it did its job! |
