Might need to look into this again, I have thought about this before but never made the helmet lock mod.

Made the first prota type helmet lock this morning out of Alloy, it is only a rough copy. I will get a few made out of stainless steel.

What do you guys think.:lurk:

I have a smal bicycle lock. I put the lid over the mirror (so the glass part 'pokes' through the visor hole) and lock the little cable through the front of the lid, and around the grip - I've got wrap around handguards so it's all secure. I would imagine, here in blighty some twxt would just cut the chinstrap, but it's just supposition.

Just trying to make a cheap alternative with no key or padlock.

I like it m8, very easy to use and well thought out. Put me down for one.

I just put my lid in my top box, but i suppose if your not into having a top box and dont wanna have to carrying you lid about with you it would be a good idea.

I would be afraid of it ripping the seat cover as there doesnt seem to be much room in there. and as GULO said over here in the UK we have alot of little scum bags:Gangsta2_9BI664: who would just knife the strap or the rings off and sell the helmet to some unknowing person.

ah the world we live in today
