'new bike' ---

Good luck with your ER6 Jeffs - never rode one but I hear they are good.
I have just arrived on this site to meet a TenZ after eight years on a super-smooth XJR1300.

I've had many trailies in the past - the only machine that threatened 'white finger' was the R100GS - haven't even had a test ride on the Ten.

Hopefully I will be able to damp down any vibrations to a tolerable level. A good squirt of builder's silicon up the bars usually has the desired effect if the end-weights have to come off when fitting the Barkbusters.

Bad enough going deaf thro' biking but it's no fun when the fingers go numb.

The xt660x comes out the winner in this competition. After 4 months I can no longer totally enjoy my bike to what it deserves. Every day I commute to work the pain gets worse, even the fun weekend rides do not make up for the low rev vibration while in slow traffic. So goodbye Xt660 and hello lighter clutch / multi cylinder new bike. It has been fun though, but just not for me in the end. :)

:039:Goodbye you may be back one day.
