New Continental Tyres
I saw a link from another site at the weekend, can't find it now but it seems that Continental are going to bring out their Trail Attack tyres with a 21" front suitable for teh Tenere. They don't seem to list them on the UK site yet but they are here
http://www.conti-bike.pl/index.php?cPath=51 .
Should be a good choice for anyone using their bike for road riding only. I had a set of Conti Road Attacks on my 1150GS and they were far better in the wet and dry than Tourances. Allowed for some spirited commuting but the rear only lasted 4k! I've never used the Trail Attacks but suspect they're a tad softer compound than Tourance for better road grip and they have a smoother profile. |
I had Trial Attacks on my 1200 GS. Never ending dry grip, far better than Tourance. Wet and cold grip comparable, slightly lower mileage. But those are my findings and on a different bike:viking:.
