XTZ660 top end rebuild parts?
 

Hi guys, i after some info on my 99 XTZ660 Tenere.
Can anyone confirm that my bikes engine share some identical engine parts as the XT660 and 660 Raptor ATV?
I doing a top end rebuild, and would like to know what aftermarket parts of current bikes i can use in my old XTZ as alternatives to factory Yamaha parts.

It's closer to the Raptor 660 & SR660 than our XT660X/R/Z motors.

The XTZ has a cast iron bore where we have a coated bores, the XTZ has 5 valves where we have only 4 valves. The small end pin on the piston for your XTZ is 2mm smaller, so the XTX/R piston so that won't fit.

If you are mixing & matching engine parts do your home work otherwise you will waist a lot of money.
